THE CLASS?

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa flow yoga is moving with the breath, nurturing the body and letting the body flow in new directions. We move together through a sequence of physical postures with focus connecting movements with the rhythm of the breath. We focus on helping ourselves breathe more efficiently, reduce stress and anxiety, clear and restore balance to mind and body and replenish your energy.

There will be an emphasis on breathing, good technique and alignment to help build strength, flexibility and balance to prevent injuries and relieve aches and pains. No matter your age or fitness level yoga is for everyone and different variations and modifications will always be offered.

Zumba

Perfect for every body! Classes designed to bring people together to sweat!
We mix low intensity and high intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning dance fitness party using Latin and world rhythms. Exercise in disguise!

A total workout combining all elements of fitness- cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility and boosted energy each time you leave class. Come and join me!

ABOUT ME

I’m Jo, mum of two (and one dog!). I have been teaching group exercise classes for over 10 years in Staines, Feltham and Ashford.

I fell in love with Zumba when it first came to the UK and have been teaching ever since! The dance fitness revolution that is the most uplifting, energy boosting fun, latin dance class with an awesome friendly group of people. Ive loved seeing everyones reactions, enjoying the music, dance moves and how it can bring people together throughout the community. I love how every Zumba instructor can have their own unique style being creative with choreography and music playlists.

I have enjoyed practising Yoga since I was a teenager. It has given me the tools I need to grow, strengthen my mind and body. Particularly since having children and as I go through milestones in life Yoga has helped keep my mind calm, eased any muscle aches, painful joints and kept my core strong. I enjoy the feeling that yoga leaves me with and I would like to share that with others. It really is a wonderful art.

I have been teaching Vinyasa flow Yoga in the local community since 2016 after completing my course at the Power Yoga Company in Parsons Green and have recently qualified in teaching Chair Yoga also. I believe Yoga is for everyone to explore, enjoy, energise and strengthen their mind and bodies.

I am drawn towards a dynamic flowing class but also enjoy the release of a more restorative practise. I hope for you to walk out of class feeling better than when you walked in! I aim to provide you with a fun and flowing down to earth class in a safe comfortable space so you too can experience the powerful benefits of yoga to both body and mind.
